What was actually studied in the VigRX Plus clinical trial?
The manufacturer's science page describes a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial involving 75 men aged 25–50 over 84 days, using the International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF).
Why the study design matters
A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled design is stronger evidence than an uncontrolled testimonial because it attempts to distinguish treatment effects from expectation and other factors. The existence of a study still does not mean every user will have the same result.
Reported outcomes
The manufacturer reports improvements across several IIEF-related measures, including ability to maintain an erection, sexual and intercourse satisfaction, overall sex drive and orgasmic function. Review those figures in context and do not treat them as personal predictions.
What the study cannot tell you
- It cannot guarantee a specific result for an individual.
- It does not make a supplement equivalent to prescription treatment.
- It does not replace medical assessment of persistent erectile dysfunction.
